Todd and Adam have assisted us in three real estate transactions, over the last 9 years, buying and selling homes. They have an incredible knowledge of Seattle area neighborhoods and were able to provide answers to all of our questions, in order to make us feel confident in our real estate dealings. Outstanding service, hard work and heroic efforts that both Todd Shively and Adam Weissman made on our behalf to literally SAVE our home sale/purchase transaction. Because of their efforts, we will be closing on our new home tomorrow. You may have heard about the debacle that was our transaction but in summary, after the buyer for our home had their lender "dump" her the day AFTER we were supposed to close (thereby preventing us from closing on our new home), Todd and Adam shifted gears, worked with our own lender and in less than 2 weeks we were able to get the buyer's loan funded, saving both deals!
More miraculous, we have been working with a very challenging agent on the purchasing side. Without going into a lot of particulars, the other agent has been a challenge to say the least. Todd is the best negotiator I have ever met and somehow managed to not only work with this agent, but ultimately has been the contact with the sellers ensuring that when the deal was starting to go sideways, they did not panic and sell the house to someone else.
I cannot stress enough that there is no doubt in our mind that without Todd and Adam we would not have gotten these transactions done. When and if we have the opportunity to work with Todd and Adam again or refer someone to them, we would would not hesitate to do so! We were grateful to have "Uncle" Todd and Adam guiding us through big life changes in the past two years. We purchased two homes for two new babies in two years with their help. They helped us plan a vision for our growing family. They gently helped us realize that a crib in the living room of a 500 sq ft condo was not the life we wanted! And they understood the time constraints we faced while searching for our home.
Todd and Adam are conscientious advocates. They are respectful and proactive. We trust them, I guess there is not a more important reason to choose a realtor. Apart from that, we really appreciated that they pay attention to all the details and logistics of meetings, signatures and forms, making things quick and following up if we have forgotten to do something.
They know what's going on with the bank and other contractors so we don't have to be the middleman relaying information. We love them and will work with them again but not for a while because we love the house they sold us.

Todd Shively and his team came to my rescue last fall when my dream vacation home threatened to slip through my fingers. An adjacent property to my parent's cabin had come up for sale and I had waited, almost too long, to make the decision to place an offer.
